A high quality wine at a very reasonable price., About this bottle:The premier cru Les Peuillets vineyard sits on the border between Savigny-Les-Beaune and Beaune. There is a large quantity of sand among the clay and limestone soil. Peuillets means ‘young wood’, suggesting the sloped vineyard site was once forested. This high quality premier cru vineyard has been worked organically for many years and produces a naturally small yield of intensely pure fruit. To make the wine, the hand-harvested grapes were fermented with native yeasts under the guidance of winemaker Sylvain Debord.
